Adults race route

The adults race begins at the John Barleycorn and finishes at the Plough. Prior to the race The carts will gather at Graystones before parading to the starting grid.

Childrens race route

The childrens race starts and finishes at the John Barleycore. The two younger age groups will complete a single circuit of the route, while the older age group will race for two laps. As with the adults race the childrens teams will gather at Graystones before parading to the starting grid.

Road closures

The following roads in Duxford are closed to traffic during the Soap Box Derby.

• Moorfield road
• Hunts road
• Hinxton road
• St John’s Street
• St Peter’s Street
• Chapel Street
• Rectory Road
• Green Street

Roads ajoining onto these roads will have their access suspended except for critical situations. Please respect the marshalls at all times and their instructions.
